Our community commitment
We’ve served the Bay of Plenty community since 1967. Thousands of local families have trusted us to care for their loved ones. Our community commitment is our way of saying thank you for the faith you place in us.
Community stories
Waipuna Hospice
It’s an honour to support the incredible team at Waipuna Hospice with their important work. We make a monthly donation to sponsor the nurses’ petrol and provide activity packs for children in the family unit. We also attend their Superhero Walk.
Community services
At Christmas, Easter, and on Anzac Day we organise community services in local rest homes. These services allow less mobile older people to mark these important occasions. They’re also a fun social time with morning tea.
Club sponsorship
We love supporting and attending local bowling, croquet, bridge and golf tournaments. It’s a pleasure to be able to give back and be involved in these great community sports events.
Remembrance services
You’re invited to a Christmas Remembrance Service for your loved ones. Services are held at the Chapel on Cameron in Tauranga and at St Peters Anglican Church in Katikati. All are welcome. Personal invitations are sent to families who have experienced a death during the year.
Anzac service sheets
We’re grateful to have the opportunity to produce and print the service sheets for the Anzac services at Te Puke, Mount Maunganui, and Pyes Pa Cemetery. “At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.”
Community memorials
Elliotts is honoured to have been able to gift and install the Soldier at Pyes Pa Cemetery, in commemoration of the Year of the Veteran. We also sponsored the construction and installation of the new War Memorial Cenotaph at Stella Park in Papamoa.
