WHITEHEAD Aileen Knowles (nee Haslett)
Peacefully on 19th April 2025, aged 91 years.
Dearly loved wife of the late Charlie Whitehead. Loving mother and mother in law of Charles and Jan, John and Philippa, Anne and Daniel. Loving Granny of Stuart, Christopher, Aleisha; Nikki, Carl; Liam, and Eva. Great Granny of Ruby and Harper.
A celebration of Aileen’s life will be held at St John Anglican Church, 47 Jocelyn Street Te Puke on Wednesday April 23rd at 1pm. Sincere thanks to the loving team at Ward 3a, Tauranga Hospital.
The family wish to invite people to make donations in Aileen’s memory to The Kauri Centre – https://kauricentre.acw.org.nz/ which runs from the St John’s Hall twice a week and which Aileen used to attend. (It is run by Anglican Care Waiapu – the Social Service arm of the Diocese).
